General (shop, processes, warranty)
A remanufactured part is not a polished-up used part, but a component that has been completely dismantled, inspected and rebuilt with new wearing parts. The result is the same performance as a new part, only with far lower use of raw materials and energy.
Yes. We work to a fixed industrial process and replace all safety and function relevant components. At the end of every process there is an end-of-line test in which each individual component is fully checked once more before it leaves the plant.
When you buy an exchange part you pay a deposit in addition to the actual price. The reason: if you send us back your remanufacturable part afterwards, it serves as the basis for the next remanufacturing run, and you get the deposit refunded in full.
You register the return online using our form. Depending on quantity and volume we then select a suitable service provider for the collection, which is free of charge for you.
For every product group we make the applicable old-part criteria available to our customers online, so you can look at them in advance. If your part does not meet them, for example because it is too badly damaged, the deposit is not refunded, or only in part.
This is required by law, not something we invented: when defective parts are exchanged for remanufactured ones, the value of the old part is assessed at a flat 10 % of the net price and VAT is charged on that. The amount appears separately on the invoice.
As a rule 24 months with no mileage limit, and for some components from the fuel and exhaust area up to 36 months. The exact term is stated on the respective product page.
Here you get back exactly the component you sent in, only fully overhauled, instead of a different exchange part from our stock. That matters above all when no old parts are available.
Primarily for wholesalers, and in addition for workshops and fleet operators that need a reliable spare part quickly, and for vehicle manufacturers that want to integrate remanufactured components into their own supply chain.
Most items are available from stock, so delivery times are correspondingly short. For special-order items or very specific part numbers it may take somewhat longer; you can see this directly during the ordering process.
Steering systems
We carry steering gears, steering cylinders and power steering pumps, all hydraulic and for the common commercial vehicle series.
For ZF, Bosch, TRW, Sheppard, RBL and Mercedes among others. With around 635 part numbers for steering gears alone, we have one of the widest ranges in Europe.
About 350 part numbers, which covers most trucks and buses.
Yes. Steering gears are among the safety-critical components, which is why all seals, bearings and wearing parts are renewed as a matter of principle during remanufacturing, not only the obviously defective ones.
Typical signs are a loud whistling or rushing noise when steering, a stiff steering wheel or irregular oil loss at the steering system. In such cases it is worth looking at an exchange part instead of repairing for a long time.
24 months, with no restriction on mileage.
With the classic exchange part yes, that is part of the deposit system. If you would rather have your own component back, that is possible through 1:1 reconditioning.
We carry steering gears, steering cylinders and power steering pumps for trucks and buses; exact availability depends on the particular model.
Transmission technology
Above all ZF transmissions, for vehicles from MAN, DAF, Iveco, Mercedes, Volvo and Scania. More than 250 transmissions are currently in stock.
NewAMT is a repair kit for the existing transmission control; the current control unit stays in place and does not have to be reprogrammed. PowerPack is the complete exchange unit for the transmission control. The gear actuator, in turn, is the actuator that carries out the shift commands mechanically.
Not necessarily. We also supply gear actuators pre-programmed for the specific vehicle, in which case the part is ready to fit straight away. Alternatively we transfer the software from your defective component.
That is the name of our system for concentric slave cylinders and clutches, that is the components that operate the clutch in automated manual transmissions.
Yes, including the ZF Intarder in various versions, together with the matching control units.
24 months with no mileage limit, plus technical support and fitting instructions.
Just give us a call; in most cases the old transmission number or the vehicle model is already enough.
Compressed air systems
The focus is currently on compressors: with around 380 part numbers and over 4,500 cross-references to original part numbers, this is one of the widest ranges on the market.
In price terms the remanufactured version is usually well below the new part; technically there is no difference, because all wearing parts are renewed anyway.
For trucks and buses; the exact selection depends on the manufacturer and the engine.
Usually through pressure building up too slowly, unusual knocking or oil escaping at the housing. At the latest when the brake system no longer holds pressure reliably, the part should be replaced.
24 months, as with most of our exchange parts.
In the vast majority of cases no, the compressor is a purely mechanical component. Certain electronically controlled versions can be an exception; we clarify that with you in advance.
You send it back free of charge as part of the deposit system. Simply register the return online using our form, and we will then organise a suitable collection for you.
Fuel system technology
We currently carry around 190 part numbers with more than 9,800 cross-references, for Bosch, Delphi, Scania, Cummins and Denso among others, plus many well-known off-highway manufacturers.
The injector is completely dismantled, all internal parts are cleaned or replaced, and afterwards every injector is tested on the test bench for injection quantity and tightness before it leaves the plant.
Yes, in addition to injectors we carry high-pressure pumps for the common commercial vehicle engines.
Typical symptoms are rough engine running, increased fuel consumption, power loss or a fault message on the on-board computer. In the worst case a single defective injector can also damage neighbouring cylinders.
That depends on the individual case. On some engines it makes technical sense or is even prescribed, on others replacing the defective injector is enough. If in doubt, it is best to discuss this with our technical support.
24 or 36 months depending on the component; you will find the exact figure on the product page.
With most modern systems yes; this normally requires individual IMA or C2I codes, which you read off the new component and store in the control unit.
Final drive
Differentials, through-drives and complete axles, for practically all common truck manufacturers.
More than 150 differentials are permanently available, giving us one of the widest ranges for final drives in Europe.
Usually through unusual noises when accelerating or braking, sometimes also through noticeable play in the drivetrain. The earlier you have it checked, the cheaper the repair usually is.
24 months with no mileage limit.
Yes, if only this part is affected the whole component does not have to be replaced. That saves cost and time in the workshop.
Yes, in addition to truck applications we carry differentials, axles and through-drives specifically for buses as well.
Brake systems
Primarily brake calipers and the matching repair kits, for trucks, buses and trailers.
For Knorr-Bremse, Meritor, BPW and SAF among others, including the MAXX 22 special version for Mercedes. With 745 part numbers and over 16,500 cross-references, the coverage is correspondingly broad.
All wear-critical parts such as seals, pistons, guide bushes, boots and springs, plus the matching fixing material, all in one set.
In many cases yes: a repair kit is considerably cheaper than a new brake caliper and at the same time saves resources. If the brake caliper itself is badly damaged, for example by corrosion, there is no way around complete replacement.
Yes, for trucks up to 7.5 tonnes we also carry hydraulic brake calipers.
When you buy an exchange part yes, that is part of the deposit system, but return shipping is free of charge.
Yes, we explicitly carry brake calipers and repair kits for trailer applications as well.
Exhaust technology
Diesel particulate filters including accessories, EGR modules and EGR shut-off valves, throttle valves, and components for selective catalytic reduction, that is the AdBlue area including the delivery module for urea injection and dosing modules.
By our own assessment the largest in Europe, so the probability that we have the right DPF for your vehicle in stock is correspondingly high.
The EGR module controls exhaust gas recirculation as a whole; the shut-off valve is a part of it and regulates how much exhaust gas is recirculated. Depending on the fault pattern, replacing the valve alone is sometimes enough.
It delivers the AdBlue from the tank to the dosing module and maintains the necessary pressure so that the SCR system works reliably. If it fails, the vehicle normally reports a fault and at some point reduces power.
In most cases yes, the soot load values in the control unit should be reset after installation. The workshop normally takes care of that as part of the diagnosis.
24 or 36 months depending on the component.
