Old-part deposit
The old-part deposit makes sure that customers actually return their defective component instead of scrapping it. Remanufacturing only works with this return flow, because the old part is the basis for the next remanufacturing run. If the part sent in meets the stated old-part criteria, the deposit paid is refunded in full. The return is registered online using a form, and rema.germany then selects a suitable service provider for free collection, depending on quantity and volume.
