Exchange part
With the classic exchange system you receive an already remanufactured part, usually straight from stock. You then return your own defective component; it serves as a so-called old part for a future remanufacturing process. This principle is the reason why exchange parts are considerably cheaper than new parts, and it is connected with the deposit system and the old-part deposit.
